Comic Relief launches Red Nose Day 2011!

Red Nose Day 2011 is on its way to make us laugh and raise lots of money for millions of people all over the world.

Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton is leading the way with a dare-devil challenge - she'll test her nerves by walking on a high wire suspended way up in the air!

Dance group Flawless

Dance group Flawless, are doing their bit to raise awareness of Comic Relief, which has worked in 76 countries since it started fundraising in 1985.

As well as fundraising events, there'll be lots of stuff you can buy to raise money for Comic Relief - including t-shirts, badges and even tomato plants.

Let's Dance for Comic Relief will also be back on TV, starting on Saturday 19 February. Funny lady Miranda Hart will be on the panel to judge the celebs' moves.

As always, the fundraising fun will also include the Red Nose Day TV special, which this year is on Friday 18 March.

Comic Relief has raised more than 650 million since its launch in 1985. Let's hope they raise loads this year too!
