Man survives 300 metre fall

A hill climber has survived after falling 1,000 feet down a mountain in Scotland.

Adam Potter who's 35-years-old said he thought he would die as he fell down the steep slope after slipping.

But rescuers in a Royal Navy helicopter found him standing up reading a map when they arrived on the scene at Sgurr Choinnich Mor mountain.

Mr Potter is now recovering in hospital in Glasgow and he's said he hopes to be back in the mountains in a few weeks.
