Ke$ha beats Lady Gaga with world's top digital single

Ke$ha has scored the world's top-selling digital single of 2010 with Tik Tok, beating Lady Gaga and Eminem to the title.

The American singer's debut hit sold a whopping 12.8 million copies over the past year.

Lady Gaga's Bad Romance was second, followed by Eminem and Rihanna's Love The Way You Lie. Both singles were downloaded more than 9 million times.

Despite topping the global chart, TiK ToK peaked at number four in the UK.

California Gurls by Katy Perry was 6th in the global chart and Justin Bieber's Baby came 8th.

It was put together by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, which represents record companies worldwide.

The biggest digital single in 2009 was Lady Gaga's Poker Face.
