In pics: Classic kids' TV shows on 'moving' stamps

Thunderbirds are go! Royal Mail have kick-started 2011 with stamps of classic kids' programmes including Thunderbirds, Stingray and Captain Scarlet.

They are hit shows from the 1960s and are still well known. Thunderbirds was even made into a film a few years ago.

There are also 'moving' stamps in the set - when you tilt them back and forth the picture moves showing the lift-off sequence of the Thunderbird vehicles.

The shows were created by Gerry Anderson and the new stamps celebrate 50 years since Gerry's first show, Supercar.
