Forecaster tells Newsround the cold will keep coming

Could it be a white Christmas?

If you're hoping to see more snow soon, there's good news - it's going to get cold and snowy again in loads of places across the UK by the end of the week.

There's a load of freezing cold air coming down from the Arctic that's set to hit the UK this Friday.

BBC forecaster Simon King told Newsround that Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales will be the first to see any snow that comes with it.

But he reckons the rest of the UK won't miss out over the weekend.

With all this snowy weather continuing, could a white Christmas be on the cards for some of us?
