Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Man Utd all qualify

Arsenal needed to win if they were to get through to the knock out round of the Champions League on Wednesday night...

Robin Van Persie scored a penalty early in the game and the Gunners were looking good...

But then Partisan Belgrade scored and it was looking a bit dodgy for Arsene Wenger's team!

Theo Walcott

Luckily Theo Walcott was around to score a great volley and help Arsenal to a 3-1 win.

Chelsea lost to Marseille

Chelsea had already won their group - so it didn't matter that they lost 1-0 to French team Marseille. The Blues are in terrible form at the moment though.

Spurs chat before their game

On Tuesday, Manchester United and Spurs were both already through to the knockout stages of the Champions League - but needed points in their last games to win the group!

Twente's goalie

So when FC Twente's goalie missed the ball completely, Tottenham had the lead! It was a shocker!

Jermain Defoe

Jermain Defoe also bagged for Harry Redknapp's team. But Twente kept coming back so it finished 3-3. Spurs still win the group though.

Manchester United players in action

Winning your group is important because it means you don't play the tough teams like Barcelona in the next round. All Man United needed was a draw...

Valenica score first

So some sloppy defending and a goal for Valencia didn't really help...

Anderson scores for United

But midfield man Anderson sorted that out with an goal to make it 1-1. So United finished top as well.

Rangers didn't make it through to the next round

No such luck for Rangers, they could only draw. But they do qualify for the Europa League so it wasn't all bad news.
