Farris Hodo and Kevin Coon have broken the world record for TV viewing

Three men in America have broken a world record after watching telly non-stop for a whopping 86 HOURS and six minutes!

Kevin Coon, Farris Hodo and Victor Lopez had to watch the screen and stay awake, but were allowed a 10-minute break every two hours.

Organisers invited 100 TV fans to take part in the challenge in Hollywood, but only three survived until the end.

The trio got US$10,000 (about £6,300) each for their achievement.

The couch potatoes were allowed a 10-minute break every two hours.

New record holder Kevin Coon said: "Beating the world record just feels... it's amazing.

"I just hope no one goes out to try to beat it next year. Just give me my five years or whatever."
