Conor Coady

Here are the nominees for this year's Young Sports Personality of the Year! First up is Liverpool player Conor Coady who has had an amazing year for the England under-17s!

Dan Lucker

Welsh Paralympian Dan Lucker was selected to compete in the senior GB squad at Paralympic World Cup and won a mega five gold medals at the World International Junior level!

Jade Jones

Jade Jones became Britain's first ever Youth Olympic gold medallist at the competition in Singapore and won bronze at the European Taekwondo Championships!

Emma Saunders

Now meet Emma Saunders - the youngest member of England's Commonwealth Games swimming team. She picked up a silver and a bronze medal at the games!

Liam Pitchford

Liam Pitchford also had a fantastic Commonwealth Games in the men's table tennis event. He bagged a silver and bronze medal and caused a major upset by beating one of the sport's best players!

Jodie Williams

Jodie Williams from Hertfordshire is unbeaten in the whole of her 100m sprint career. This year she broke the under-20 British record for running the distance!

Laura Robson

Laura Robson made her Centre Court debut at Wimbledon this summer, pretty impressive for a 16-year-old! She's also partnered Andy Murray and played in the US and Australian opens.

Sam Oldham

The Youth Olympics were also great for gymnast Sam Oldham. He grabbed a gold on the high bars and a silver on the pommel horse!

Tom Daley

Last year's winner, Tom Daley, has had a fantastic year! He was crowned a double Commonwealth champ in the diving competition even though he had a shoulder injury!

Zoe Smith

Zoe Smith broke records in the Commonwealth weightlifting competition. She's the youngest ever Commonwealth weightlifting medallist!
