X Factor: Treyc Cohen goes as Cheryl refuses to vote

X Factor contestant TreyC Cohen at her first 2010 audition in front of the judges

The X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has lost her first contestant, Treyc Cohen, after she found two of her acts in the sing-off on Sunday's results show.

Cheryl has angered some fans after refusing to vote between Treyc and Katie Waissel. She said: "I'm not sending either of them home, Dermot."

In the end it went to a majority vote, with Simon and Louis saving Katie.

But Treyc isn't bitter about it: "When Cheryl said she couldn't pick... I completely understand."

It's the third time that Katie Waissel has survived a sing-off on the show.

When Dermot asked Treyc what she think happened, the singer replied: "Probably just the connection with the people at home. But I've had the best time."

Treyc was one of four 'wildcard' contestants brought back to the live finals after being told she hadn't made it.

The 26-year-old made it to the judges' houses stage last year.
