Plane makes emergency landing after engine trouble

The plane's engine after making an emergency landing

A plane in Singapore had to make an emergency landing after having trouble with one of its engines just after take-off.

Firefighters were called to the runway to spray the engine which had lost some of its casing and had turned black.

The plane was on its way to Australia with about 460 people on board, but had to turn back when the problems started.

No-one was injured and there's an investigation going on find out what happened.

The plane was an Airbus A380 which is the world's largest passenger aircraft.

Qantas, the company in charge of the plane, say they're not flying any of their A380 fleet until they're happy that all of them are safe.
