A cash-strapped animal sanctuary that was facing closure has been saved by a group of local kids in Lancashire.
The shelter needed lots of repairs, but didn't have enough money to carry out the work because the donations it relies on had dried up.
So the children grabbed their tools and stepped in to help. So far, they've mended the roof, built a new floor and repaired the cattery!
Their hard work means the 400 animals at the sanctuary still have somewhere to live, as Hayley went to find out...
