He was the week's biggest football story - off the pitch. Liverpool's new owner John W Henry got to see his new club in action against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Torres is tackled

Lets hope J W Henry doesn't ask for his money back. Fernando Torres, being tackled here, couldn't help deliver a victory in the Merseyside Derby. Everton won, 2-0.

Rooney on the bench

Wayne Rooney started out on the subs bench for Manchester Utd's match against West Brom, prompting lots of reports that he's fallen out with manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Rooney -  not looking too happy

Rooney joined the game in the 71st minute but couldn't help United to a win. They were held to their third Premier League draw in a row.

Manchester City came away the winners, after Carlos Tevez scored twice. They're now second in the table, and people are saying they could catch League leaders Chelsea.
