Watch the moment the last of the 33 miners was rescued from the underground mine where he and his workmates were trapped for more than two months.

Luis Urzua, known by the nickname "Don Lucho", was leader of the shift when the mine tunnel collapsed.

Chilean President Sebastian Pinera was there to greet him when he surfaced.

The president paid tribute to him for doing his duty and seeing off all his men before "leaving last like a ship's captain".
