Monkeys on guard for Commonwealth Games

Commonwealth Games bosses in India are using an unusual type of security guard for the event - langur monkeys!

Thousands of monkeys roam Delhi's streets, running through offices and riding on trains. But Games chiefs don't want them disturbing events.

So they've brought in big and fierce langurs - often used to scare off other troublesome monkeys in public places.

At least 10 of the black-faced animals, which are controlled by special handlers, are being used at venues.

Monkeys are seen as sacred by many in India so they can't be killed.
