Will Smith's daughter Willow gets record deal with Jay-Z

Willow Smith, Will Smith's daughter, has signed a record deal

Hollywood actor Will Smith's nine-year-old daughter Willow has signed a record deal with US rapper Jay-Z.

Her first song Whip My Hair has quickly become a hit on the web and she's already being tipped for superstardom.

Jay-Z said: "I heard the record first before I knew that it was recorded by a nine-year-old and I was like, man that record's a smash."

He discovered Rihanna - and Willow's haircut makes her look a bit like the Umbrella singer!

Jay-Z reckons Willow isn't too young to start a music career: "When you have that sort of talent, there is no such thing as too young."

Willow's no stranger to the limelight as she's already been in a few films. She was the voice of Baby Gloria in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. Willow's actress mum Jada Pinkett was in it too!

Jaden, Willow's older brother, can currently be seen in cinemas as The Karate Kid.

With such a showbiz family, we're sure Willow won't be short of advice - plus dad Will has had eight top 10 hit singles in the UK!
