Strictly line-up unveiled

Rugby star Gavin Henson, ex-Blue Peter presenter Matt Baker and Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child are among the celebs in this year's Strictly.

There are 14 stars pairing up with professionals to dance on our tellies for the Strictly Come Dancing crown.

Six actors are included in the line-up - you'll recognise Kara Tointon and Scott Maslen from EastEnders and Tina O'Brien from rival Coronation Street.

This year the celebs won't meet their partners until the launch show.

Acting stars Jimi Mistry, Patsy Kensit and Felicity Kendall will have to wait until Saturday 11 September to find out who they've been paired up with - live on TV!

Magician Paul Daniels is the oldest of the contestants, at 72.

Aside from Gavin Henson, Peter Shilton is the only other sportsperson - the former goalie has played in three World Cups and is England's most capped player ever.

DJ Goldie, former Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe and psychologist Pamela Stephenson complete the celeb line-up.

Changes

There are two fewer couples this year - 14 instead of 16 - and three new professional male dancers join the show.

Strictly bosses are also bringing back the Sunday night results show. Claudia Winkleman will stand in for Bruce Forsyth, who will only present the Saturday night programmes.

Last year's series was won by BBC sports presenter Chris Hollins, who beat actor Ricky Whittle to the title.
