Endangered pygmy hippo birth celebrated at Poland zoo

Pygmy hippo born in Poland

A male pygmy hippo born in a zoo in Poland has been shown off for the first time.

More female than male pygmy hippos are born in captivity, so the birth is good news for keepers there.

Pygmy hippos are pretty rare, but usually live in the wild in west Africa, mostly in the country of Liberia.

It's thought there are only around 3,000 or fewer remaining.
