Tennis ace Andy Murray has cruised through to the second round of the US Open by beating Lukas Lacko from Slovakia in straight sets.
He beat his opponent 6-3 6-2 6-2 in under two hours, with temperatures in New York of up to a scorching 37C!
The British number one now faces Jamaican Dustin Brown in round two.
Murray is seeded fourth in the tournament. The 23-year-old is still looking to win his first Grand Slam title.
But there was more good news for Murray when rival Tomas Berdych, who he could have faced in the quarter finals, got knocked out.
Czech player Berdych reached this year's Wimbledon final and beat Murray in the French Open in May.
