British teenager Ellie Simmonds has won her THIRD gold medal at the World Paralympic swimming championships.

Ellie, 15, won the 200m individual medley event in Holland. She also set a new world record with a time of 3 minutes and 8 seconds.

She was trailing in sixth place halfway through the race, but powered back in the second half to take the title.

"I am really happy to be on top of the podium again," Ellie said after the race.

"I went into it thinking that it was going to need a world record to win that race and to do that is great," she added.

Britain also got two more golds thanks to Jonathan Fox and Daniel Pepper, who won the 100m backstroke and 100m breaststroke.
