I'm raising money for the Pakistan floods

Girl raises money after seeing floods on Newsround

A 10-year-old girl is raising money for Pakistan after seeing pictures of the flood on Newsround.

Benita did a sponsored 10-mile bike ride and is hoping to raise £500 to help those made homeless by the floods.

Millions of people affected by the floods in Pakistan still need food, clean water, medicine and shelter.

Benita said: "I think that it could make a difference if more people volunteer to do things, like riding bikes and stuff."

She added: "It's only one country that's affected so the rest of the world could help."

Other countries have given millions of pounds to Pakistan, but it could take years for the country to recover.
