In pictures: Sonali 'unpacks' crocodiles

Sonali outside the aquarium

Sonali spent the day at the Sea Life London Aquarium, where they were expecting the arrival of two very special guests...

Van

The aquarium was welcoming two critically endangered Cuban Crocodiles from Denmark. Here they come!

Tubes

Sonali was surprised to see that the creatures were transported in long tubes! But they prefer being in the dark and it's safer for them.

Stairs

Getting them down the stairs was tricky. Sonali carried the 'head end' of her croc. Good job as it had pooed on the way...

Sonali

Sonali was delighted with this Newsround assignment - as you can see. She couldn't believe she got to carry a croc!

Crocodile

Here they gently laid the crocodile down in its new enclosure. But Sonali had to get out of the way before it was actually released.

Crocodile

The staff opened the end of the tube and waited for the first crocodile to venture outside...

Here she is!

And here comes the second croc!

The two female crocs settled in quickly and explored their new home

Later on, the two females will be joined by a male so they can take part in a breeding programme to help this threatened species
