Hundreds of hot air balloons are flying high over Bristol this weekend as part of one of the world's biggest balloon festivals.

Over the next couple of days nearly half a million people are expected to come and watch.

The action kicked off on Friday when more than 80 balloons took off on a morning ride over the city.

This year the festival is special because it's 50 years since the modern hot air balloon was invented.

Hayley packs up a MASSIVE balloon

Hayley went to the festival to find out what it's like floating above the Earth in a balloon.

She said it was really fun, and she felt as though she was "bobbing about" in the sky.
