Martin O'Neill has resigned as Aston Villa manager just five days before the start of the Premier League season.
He's been with the club for four years and has managed to transform the team, including getting them to a Wembley Cup Final for the first time in 10 years.
It's thought Martin O'Neill may have left because he wasn't getting enough money to spend on players.
Last season, Gareth Barry moved to Manchester City and it's thought James Milner may follow this summer.
O'Neill had been talking to Villa's American owner about how much money there was to spend.
There are reports he may have left the club because the two didn't agree.
He said: "I have enjoyed my time at Aston Villa immensely. It's obviously a wrench to be leaving such a magnificent club.
"I wish them all the best for the future."
