Fifa fines Holland and Spain for World Cup final play

Football bosses have fined Spain and Holland after deciding that the two teams played too roughly during the World Cup final.

English ref Howard Webb used 14 yellow cards and one red during the fierce match - a record for a World Cup final.

Now Fifa - which sets the rules for football around the world have ordered the Dutch to pay £9,065 and Spain to pay £6,044.

The 11 July game ended up with a 1-0 win in extra-time for Spain.
