Harry Potter celebrates his 30th birthday!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

It's hard to believe but boy wizard Harry Potter would be turning 30 if he was real.

According to the books, the Hogwarts pupil was born on 31 July 1980. He has the same birthdate as author JK Rowling - but not the same year obviously!

Birthday celebrations are also taking place for Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry in the films as he's turned 21.

Loads of fans are going along to the new Potter theme park in America to mark Harry's birthday.

Maybe they'll be celebrating with a few of Hagrid's rock cakes and some chocolate frogs!

Tales of Harry's adventures have been thrilling kids for decades now.
