Sonali was pretty happy to be going to her first ever festival - this one was called Latitude in Suffolk, England.
She joined thousands of other people at the festival, including lots of children.
Sonali, did you really put that tent up yourself?! This was Sonali's 'home' during the festival.
Brothers Joe and Alfie from Devon were Sonali's camping neighbours. They watched her put up her tent and said it was a good effort, but it wouldn't last in a hurricane!
Sonali with another festival first-timer, 10-year-old, Ella. They watched ballet together on the Waterfront stage.
But it's not just about watching acts on stage - everyone can get creative and join in. This piano was left for everyone to play!
Sonali even became a star attraction herself - with lots of people asking for her autograph.
But there was still time for some of her own celeb spotting. Here she is with British movie director, Richard Curtis. He's directed movies like Bean and Mr Bean's Holiday.
But Sonali didn't get any conversation out of this guy!
It wasn't all work, work, work. Sonali also got to see some top bands as well, including Florence and the Machine!
