A schoolboy has reeled in what could be the BIGGEST goldfish ever found in Britain!
The monster was caught by 16-year-old Nick in Dorset. It weighs a whopping 2.3 kilos and is 40cm long.
Nick was fishing for common carp in a lake in Poole when he saw a big fish dash past under the water.
He said: "At first I thought it must be a really fat koi carp, but... I realised it was a common goldfish - just like one you might keep as a pet."
Once Nick had posed for a photo with the gigantic goldfish, he released it back into the lake.
A more usual-sized goldfish...
It's thought the fish was abandoned after growing too big to fit its tank, but no-one really knows.
Nick decided to call the big fish Billy: "It looked like it was healthy and in good condition. The lake is sheltered with plenty of food, so it's doing pretty well.
"Earlier in the day I'd joked that if I caught a big fish I'd call it Billy, so of course the goldfish got the name."
