JLS get number one single

JLS have proved that they're Britain's most popular boy band by getting their third number one track.

The Club Is Alive went straight in at the top of the singles chart.

Katy Perry and rapper Snoop Dogg dropped a place to number two with their track California Gurls, which has been top for the past two weeks.

Over in the album charts, Kylie Minogue's Aphrodite went straight in at number one. It's the 11th album released by the pop star.

It's 22 years since she recorded her first album, and Kylie said: "I've been completely overwhelmed by the reaction to Aphrodite and to hear that the album has gone to number one is the most amazing news."
