This tiny chick at Paradise Park in Cornwall has had to wear a set of fitted slippers to help fix a problem with his toe.
The toes on both his feet were not developing properly so keepers at the park put these slippers on.
One of the keepers said: ''For the first few days we put small bandages on the chicks toes as they were slightly curled, and this just helped straightened things out."
The little chick is being walked daily to help strengthen his legs. Keepers hope that by late August they can introduce him to other cranes.
Keepers reckon the chick will grow to over 1.2 metres in just a few months. His diet will include mealworms... ewww!
A keeper said: "We are now full-time mums with two hourly feeds and giving some much needed tender loving care to this little one.''
