World Cup wins as Italy crash out

Japan's Yasuhito Endo celebrates his goal

After the shock news that Italy are out of the World Cup, there's good news for the Netherlands and Japan, who are both through to the last 16.

The Netherlands beat Cameroon 2-1, and go on to face slovakia, who knocked out the reigning champions.

And Japan had an impressive 3-1 win against Denmark. It's only the second time they've made it out of the group stages in the World Cup.

They'll meet Paraguay in the final 16 of the tournament.

But the match everyone's still talking about is the shock departure of Italy.

Italy drew with Paraguay and New Zealand, before losing 3-2 to Slovakia on Thursday, who are ranked 34th in the world.

It means Italy finish at the bottom of Group F and won't make it past the group stages for the first time since 1974!
