Hajek made an impressive start and took an early lead in the first set. The Czech broke in game three thanks to a blistering forehand and a cute drop shot.

Before the match there had been question marks over Murray's form. He admitted to struggling for confidence after losing the Australian Open final to Roger Federer in January.

Murray Mount

Loads of people turned up to Murray Mount to watch the match. A British man hasn't won Wimbledon for over 70 years.
