Potter star cries as filming ends

Daniel Radcliffe

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe said he ended up in tears after filming the final scenes of the last Harry Potter film in the series.

Speaking at an awards ceremony in America on Sunday he said: "It was pretty devastating to be honest. It was really, really sad.

"Me, Rupert and Emma were crying quite a lot. It's a weird, weird feeling."

The film of the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is being released in two parts.

The first is due to hit cinema screens later this year, with the second being released in 2011.

As for Daniel's plans after life as the boy wizard, he said: "Hopefully I'll be doing a film later this year but we don't know what yet. There's a couple of scripts that are around and are great but we'll see."

Film success

It's been 10 years since the stars got together to film the first Harry Potter film.

So far, the films have made almost £4 billion worldwide and are the most successful series ever.
