South Africans hold World Cup street party!

Football fever is sweeping through South Africa, as everyone counts down to the start of the World Cup on Friday.

Thousands of people took to the streets in Johannesburg to show their support for the South African national team.

And England manager Fabio Capello has decided on his final line up for England's opening game against the USA.

But while fans are getting excited about the big game, Capello says he is feeling "relaxed" ahead of kick off.

One man from the Midlands has carpeted parts of his house with turf - so it feels like he's on the pitch.

And in South Africa celebrities like The Black Eyed Peas, Shakira and Alicia Keys are getting ready for a massive concert to celebrate kick-off.

About 30,000 fans are set to turn up for the gig in Soweto in South Africa on Thursday evening.

The first World Cup match is on Friday afternoon between hosts South Africa and Mexico.
