Shakira, Alicia Keys and The Black Eyed Peas are among the music stars gearing up for a massive concert to celebrate the World Cup kick-off.
About 30,000 fans are set to turn up for the gig in Soweto in South Africa on Thursday evening.
Shakira will perform the official World Cup song Waka Waka. Seventeen other acts will also be on stage, including several African artists.
Millions of people around the world are expected to watch the event.
Other artists performing include a South African rock band, a Canadian-Somalian rapper and a youth choir from Soweto.
It's hoped the event will be a chance to showcase African music stars.
Shakira said: "It is historical for Africa, after being the forgotten continent [and] now being the chosen one for such an amazing event."
On Wednesday, the Colombian star visited a primary school in Soweto and taught kids dance moves to the official World Cup song.
The first World Cup match is on Friday afternoon between hosts South Africa and Mexico.
