It's 70 years since one of the most important events for Britain in the Second World War - the Dunkirk evacuation.
More than 300,000 soldiers were rescued from the beaches of Dunkirk in France.
Germany's Adolf Hitler had invaded France, and British, French and Belgian troops were fleeing to Britain for safety.
Life on the beaches waiting for rescue ships was dangerous and scary, but the soldiers kept each other going. Their bravery is now known as the "Dunkirk spirit".
