Bolt sets fastest time this year

Usain Bolt

Sprinting superstar Usain Bolt has set the fastest time in the world this year in the 100m.

The Jamaican recorded a time of 9.86 seconds in the final of a competition in South Korea.

He stumbled out of his blocks as the race started but amazingly came through to lead at halfway, before speeding off to win by a third of a second.

Bolt won three gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and repeated the hat-trick at the 2009 World Championships.

The sprinter broke the world record at the Olympics.

Then a year later in Berlin he broke it again running the 100m in 9.58 seconds.

No-one in the world can seem to beat him, and experts say they still think he can go even faster.

Bolt reckons one day he might be able to run it in 9.4 seconds!
