Check out London's Olympic mascots

The two new mascots for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games have been shown off for the first time.

The story behind Wenlock and Mandeville is that they are made from two drops of the metal being used to build the stadiums.

They have been created by Michael Morpurgo who is a famous children's author.

And they're aimed at kids because organisers want more children to get into sport, and watch the Games in 2012.
