Justin Bieber wants fans to take it easy

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber isn't happy after his hat was stolen and his mum knocked over, by crowds of fans who were waiting to greet him in New Zealand.

Hundreds of frenzied fans mobbed the teenager and his mum as he was rushed through the airport on Tuesday.

Later, he put a message on Twitter asking fans not to push.

"Finally got to New Zealand last night. The airport was crazy. Not happy that someone stole my hat and knocked down my mama. Come on people."

Justin went on to say that he wanted to be able to meet his fans and have his picture taken with them, before adding "if you are all pushing, security won't let me. Let's keep it safe and have fun".

The latest outbreak of Bieber Fever follows similar scenes in Australia, when police had to cancel a free concert after some of his fans got hurt in the crowds and needed to go to hospital.

Oh, and don't worry, Justin's mum wasn't hurt in New Zealand. She posted her own message online to say she was OK and thanked her son's fans for their support.

Justin also got his hat back. In a later message on his Twitter page, he said: "Sorry...U can't hold me ransom. I got my hat back. no hugs. no thank u's. just glad they did the right thing. I don't condone thievery!! haha"

If that wasn't exciting enough, Justin even had took time out to try some bungee jumping.

He hurled himself off a bridge TWICE, with an elastic rope tied around his feet!
