Can Easter eggs be good for you?

Easter eggs and other chocolate can be good for you, as long as you eat small amounts, a study shows.

The study found people who eat half a bar a week have lower blood pressure and a 39% lower risk of heart attacks.

But it doesn't mean you can start eating chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

One of the doctors said that only small amounts of chocolate prevent heart disease, and you shouldn't replace healthy foods with it.

The study took eight years to do and looked at middle-aged men and women.

The researchers reckon it's something in cocoa that might be why chocolate seems to be good for people's blood pressure and heart health.

And since there is more cocoa in dark chocolate, dark chocolate might be the best of all.

Heart campaigners warned that chocolate is still bad for you if you eat too much.
