Space agency plan for future missions

British space station launched

The launch of a new space agency in Britain could pave the way for more astronauts from this country to go into space in the future.

The UK space agency has undergone a re-launch which means it's been given a new name and logo.

Britain is currently second in the world after America in space science.

But this new agency should create more jobs for people who would like to work in the space industry in the future.

American president Barack Obama recently announced that the US would be cutting back their plans for future missions to space.

The US had been planning a return mission to the moon.
