Horse rescued by helicopter

A horse in America had to be airlifted to safety by a helicopter after getting stranded in the middle of a river.

The horse was crossing the river in Arizona with when it became stuck on a sand bank.

It stayed there for five days before a rescue helicopter was eventually called in to lift it to safety.

The horse, called Colorado, had to be strapped into a special horse harness before it was lifted to safety and reunited with its owner.
