Ore and Iain

Sportsround's Ore and CBBC presenter Iain both wanted to do their bit for Sport Relief so the SR team came up with a special challenge.

The challenge was to take part in a triathlon representing their favourite footie clubs. Manchester United for Ore and Liverpool for Iain. Here's Ore warming up...

Newsround's Hayley, Iain and Ore

The first part of the challenge was a run around Liverpool's stadium Anfield. We sent Newsround's Hayley to keep the boys in order.

Iain and Ore

Iain and Ore have been training for weeks to get ready for this challenge. They certainly look ready for action.

Lawrence Dallaglio and Ore

To prepare Ore even met up with rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio who did his own Sport Relief challenge. Cycling a massive 2,800 km across Europe.

As well as running Ore and Iain had to swim 100 metres in a swimming pool. Then they faced the toughest part of the challenge cycling from Anfield stadium to Old Trafford.

Iain and Andrea

The guys had to cycle 36 miles from Liverpool to Manchester. So to help them on their way they were paired up with an experienced cyclist like Iain's partner Andrea.

John and Ore

The boys were allowed to stop along the way for a quick energy boosting break. Here Ore and his team mate John found time for a pot of tea!

Manchester United mascot

If you look closely at Ore's bike you can see a little reminder of who he's representing. A mini red-devil bear to remind him of his favourite team Manchester United.

The challenge was really tough for both guys. Here Iain's taking a breather before heading off again. He's still smiling...isn't he?

We can't tell you who won the race. But both of them did make it to the finish where they had lots of support waiting for them.

Importantly Ore and Iain were still best pals after the run, swim and cycle.

To find out who really was smiling at the end of the race tune in to Sportsround on Friday March 19th on CBBC at 6.30pm.
