JK Rowling's Harry Potter stories have topped a list of books that people would like to pass on to the next generation to read.
The survey, from the organisers of World Book Day, also found that books that have been turned into movies are the most popular.
People aged 16-24 were asked which books they'd give to their kids so they don't get forgotten,
About 75% of people asked had given a book as a present over the past year.
Scottish people were the biggest givers of books to other adults, while Londoners were the least likely to.
