England secure one day victory

England beat Bangladesh by six wickets in the first of three one day internationals in Bangladesh.

England fielded first and removed the hosts for 228 before England reached their target of 229 with six wickets remaining.

Paul Collingwood hit an unbeaten 75 runs and Alistair Cook scored 64, as England won with 24 balls to spare.

It wasn't a great match for Kevin Pietersen though, heonly lasted 5 balls before being caught at slip for one.

Alistair Cook has taken over the captaincy for these one-day internationals.

The second match will be played in Mirpur, where England will hope they can wrap up the series with another victory.
