Shaun White stuns snowboarders

American snowboarder Shaun White has kept his men's half-pipe title, winning a gold medal at the Winter Olympics.

He stunned the snowboard community by landing his new Double McTwist 1260 - a double flipping triple spin! - on the half-pipe.

"I just felt like I didn't come all the way to Vancouver not to pull out the big guns," White said about completing his new jump.

White's overall score was a staggering 48.4 out of a possible 50.

Britain's Ben Kilner finished 18th in the semi-finals after falling over on both his runs.

But he reckons the experience will mean he'll do much better at the next Games.

"I'm pretty disappointed right now, but I came here to qualify for the semi-finals so I'm really happy with that," he said.
