Pet goes for giant rabbit record

Ralph the rabbit

Meet Ralph, who is on a mission to become the world's largest rabbit.

Ralph is hoping to follow in his record-breaking mother Amy's footsteps. She weighed around 20kg and measured over 1.20m long.

Now Ralph's owner Pauline hopes he will enter the record books. She thinks that the one-year-old bunny is longer and heavier than his mum.

What does a super-size rabbit eat? Well, Ralph snacks on Weetabix, apples, carrots and huge bowls of rabbit food.

Pauline says Ralph has doubled in size since last June. She said: "He's got a big appetite!"

The current record holder for the biggest rabbit is Alice from Worcester.
