Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has called former team-mate Gary Neville a 'moron' after the Manchester derby in the Carling Cup this week.
Tevez cupped his ears towards Neville after scoring twice in City's 2-1 win.
Cameras then appeared to show the United defender make a rude sign back towards Tevez.
The Argentinian said: "He acted like a complete boot-licker when he said I wasn't worth £25m, just to suck up to the manager."
Tevez moved from United to City last summer after Alex Ferguson decided not to keep him at Old Trafford.
Before the Carling Cup first leg Neville said Ferguson was right not to sign the striker.
But after his celebrations Tevez said: "I don't know what.. that moron is talking about me for. I never said anything about him. "
It means the atmosphere at Old Trafford for the second leg of the tie will be even more tense and exciting as United have to try and overcome that 2-1 first leg defeat to get to the final.
