Lady GaGa and JLS up for Brits

JLS 'over the moon' at Brits

JLS and Lady Gaga have been nominated for three prizes each at this year's Brit Awards.

JLS are up for British breakthrough act, British group and British single.

While Lady Gaga is up for a hat-trick of international awards including best female artist and best album.

Lily Allen, Pixie Lott, Florence And The Machine all have three nominations each, while there are two chances for Dizzee Rascal and La Roux to pick up awards on the night.

Ashton from JLS said their three nominations came as a bit of a surprise.

"We kind of jumped up and down, sitting over there, for the best song," he said.

But which one would they most like to win out of the three awards they're up for?

Oritse said: "If we won any we'd be over the moon, we'd be very happy."

International acts

In the international categories Lady Gaga leads the way.

But rapper Jay-Z is up for two awards - best male and best album.

Rihanna, Shakira, Taylor Swift and the Black Eyed Peas are also nominated.

The Brit Awards take place in London on Tuesday 16 February.
