Record-breaking base jump

Base jumper

Two men have broken the record for the world's highest base jump. Nasr Al Niyadi and Omar Al Hegelan leapt off the tallest building in the world - the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

The pair fell 828 metres in just one-and-a-half minutes, reaching speeds of up to 136 mph!

Base jumpers leap off buildings or other really high structures and then after falling a long way open their parachute and glide the rest of the way to the ground.

Often Base jumpers don't have permission to climb and leap from the building, but the Burj Khalifa's owners had allowed these record-breakers to carry out their stunt.
