Are you looking forward to the World Cup?

The World Cup trophy

Newsround is in South Africa to find out what the country is up to in the build up to the football World Cup which kicks off there in June.

The first match takes place on 11 June when the host nation plays Mexico in Johannesburg.

So are you looking forward to the tournament? Will you be cheering for England - the only home nation to qualify for the World Cup?

Maybe you'll be cheering for the teams playing against England! Or are you supporting one of the other teams hoping to lift the trophy on 11 July?

Unfortunately this topic is now closed but there are Comments pages on other subjects on the main Chat index.
